Smart Cookie Club loves getting involved with local community and school events! We have worked with a number of organizations, specially tailoring activities to suit their needs while promoting play-based learning along the way. If you're interested in pairing with SCC for an upcoming event, please contact email@example.com
We have enjoyed offering thematic and educational play-based learning activities for children in Joe Fresh retail outlets, allowing parents a few moments to shop and enjoy some great in-store deals and discounts!
Swansea Town Hall
Withrow Farmer's Market
We love participating in community events such as this one! SCC set up a range of food-related play-based activities for young children, while educating them about the facets of healthy eating.
North Toronto Moms
Koffler Centre of the Arts
The Koffler Gallery offers a variety of events and activities throughout the year that cater to young families and SCC has had the privilege of getting involved. We loved making and playing instruments and facilitating activities for kids as part of the Small World Music Festival Fanfari event in Trinity Bellwoods Park. SCC has also thoroughly enjoyed working with the authors and creators of Bookmarkers – a books and breakfast series for young kids and their parents, where we facilitate thematic literacy activities that compliment the showcased stories.
Smart Cookie Club
Stay. Play. Learn.
Smart Cookie Club has teamed up Artscape Youngplace for family friendly community events such Art of Darkness and fundraising for the College Montrose Children’s Place. As Smart Cookie Club will be taking up permanent residency in Studio 306 at Artscape Youngplace, we look forward to many future partnerships with the building and the local Trinity Bellwoods community!
Front Street Foods
SCC has had a great time entertaining kids with thematic food-related activities set up at this annual culinary market that showcases Toronto’s best chefs, restaurants, food entrepreneurs and their delectable creations.
Artscape Wychwood Barns is a community cultural hub that opened in 2008 where a dynamic mix of arts, culture, food security, urban agriculture, environmental and other community activities and initiatives come together to provide a new lease on life for a century-old former streetcar repair facility.
This multi-faceted complex houses artist live/work spaces, programming and administrative facilities for not-for-profit organizations, indoor and outdoor growing areas, a community-run gallery and a 7,680 square foot “Covered Street” used for farmers and art markets, conferences and events. Unlike a traditional community centre, the Artscape Wychwood Barns operate on a self-sustaining model, without requiring ongoing operating subsidy after the initial capital investment. Tenants of Artscape Wychwood Barns pay affordable rents and contribute to the programming of the building and site.
TDSB Scool Fundraisers
Smart Cookie Club has partnered up with a number of schools across the Toronto District School Board, assisting them with their fundraising goals by donating classes and/or gift baskets to their silent auction and facilitating fun, engaging and educational activities at their various school fairs and events.
Children's Discovery Centre is Toronto's only children's museum designed by a team of early childhood development professionals for kids aged 0 to 6 years to play, create, explore and use their imagination.
SCC provided an unforgettable educational experience, facilitating activities where kids and their parents and caregivers learned through play in their favourite Toronto museum! We loved partnering up with the CDC’s pilot project and we look forward to building future connections when they establish their permanent Toronto location.
